I did another review in August of many more Sassy Kandle Co. scents at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/2017/08/sassy-kandle-co-wax-melt-tarts-reviews.html, and I'll be reviewing holiday scents over the next few weeks.
Bergamot & Tarragon
Notes: A spa-like fragrance with notes of tarragon leaves, bergamot, lime and jasmine. It is rounded out with base notes of oakmoss and bamboo.
Oh I really like this one. I've smelled it before, but I'm not sure where. It's a very green, herbal, slightly savory spa type scent with barely a hint of sweetness, and a smidgen of soapiness. It could be a fresh herbal body wash but it's not sweet enough. Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
Cedarwood Spice
Notes: Rich warm notes of spicy incense blend with rich cedarwood, oak and spicy clove. Warm undertones of bergamot and black pepper.
I can't tell what I'm smelling. It's sweet and incensey, a little like nag champa or patchouli, with black pepper and a milky or vanilla note. It's nice and unique. Throw was poor, 1.5 or 2 out of 5.
Cocoa Butter Cashmere
Notes: A cozy fragrance perfectly balanced between sweet, woodsy and warm. Notes of light spices and cedarwood are followed by rich vanilla tonka, warm coconut and jasmine petals. Olive wood, sandalwood, amber, musk and a touch of cocoa butter round out this sophisticated scent.
Fantastic scent! It's a warm perfume scent with a cashmere and maybe amber note, but I also smell rich vanilla or caramel, giving this scent a little bit of a sweet foodie quality. I don't actually smell chocolate, but I do detect a very slight chocolate-like richness. Although if I didn't know the scent name was Cocoa Butter Cashmere, I wouldn't think cocoa at all. Looking at the scent notes, I don't think I smell coconut, although it might be way in the background. Throw was excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5, and the scent lasted like 12 hours!
Egyptian Cotton
Notes: This cotton flower is blended with ylang petals and lily of the valley and has undertones of white amber and vanilla orchid wrapped in a blanket of warm musk & mist.
This smells fantastic. I smell baby powder, laundry, warm musk, a hint of vanilla, and a smidgen of some kind of flower like jasmine. Looking at the scent notes, they're spot on. Throw was excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5.
Ginger Peach & Patchouli
Notes: Warm ginger essence combined with juicy peaches and earthy patchouli
I didn't think I would like this based on cold sniff, but it's actually quite nice. I smell the woodsiness of the patchouli and the milkiness of the peach. The peach note is not a sweet fruity peach scent, but more like peaches and cream, or the fuzzy outside of the peach. It's not really a sweet scent either, and there's something about it that smells clean. I don't smell ginger per se. It's a nice, unique scent. Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
Sandalwood Patchouli
Notes: Fragrant grains of sandalwood are polished with the notes of deep patchouli
The perfect combination of sweet rich patchouli and light sandalwood. This also has a perfumey note, and maybe a bit of baby powder or nag champa. Fantastic! Throw was good, around 3 out of 5.
Strawberry Kiwi
Notes: Blend of sweet summer strawberries and ripe kiwis
This smells like honeydew melon with a slightly candyish strawberry note. Melon scents can sometimes be a bit too bland on their own, but the strawberry gives this scent a nice extra sweet, fruity richness. A happy, refreshing summer scent! Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
Sweetgrass
Notes: A bright green scent of earthy sweetgrass with just touch of clover and wisteria.
I really like this one. It smells like green grass and light florals, and a hint of a soapy note that make this smell a bit like a nice green shower gel. Throw was good, 3 out of 5.
Sweet Orange Chili Pepper
Notes: A combination of Valencia orange, bergamot, tangerine zest, orange juice, ground pepper & chili pepper.
I really like this one. It's orange, but not a sweet candy type orange. It's slightly bitter, like the rind of the orange, almost a bit of a grapefruit note. It's very refreshing. I don't actually smell pepper or any savory notes. Throw was excellent, 4 out of 5.
Turkish Mocha
Notes: Creamy top notes of milk, cardamom, cocoa and a touch of nutmeg, winding down to vanilla, honey rum, and Turkish Coffee.
I'm not a fan of chocolate scented wax melts, but this is more than just chocolate, and I love it! It smells a lot like Better Homes & Gardens Brownie Pecan Pie (one of my favorite scents), but without the nutty note. I smell milk chocolate (not a harsh burnt chocolate), caramel, and maybe a smidgen of coconut, and there might also be a barely detectable hint of coffee. It's a super rich, yummy scent. Throw was excellent, 4 out of 5.
Vanilla Hazelnut
Notes: Sweet hazelnut with the richness of buttery vanilla cream
A nice sweet rich nutty buttery bakery scent, this smells a bit like peanut butter cookies, but without the salty note that peanut butter tends to have. Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
Vanilla Hazelnut Latte
Notes: A smooth vanilla latte complemented with toasted hazelnuts. Cozy and warming
A fantastic coffee scent that blends a realistic coffee bean scent with sweet vanilla and a slightly nutty note. It's not overly sweet and doesn't have that fake chemical note that a lot of sweet coffee scents have. Throw was excellent, 5 out of 5, and it was a scent monster that took over the whole house.
