Sassy Kandle Co. is one of my top favorite wax vendors! Her scents are unique, and in general throw is very good or better. Her wax is a unique blend of premium soy and paraffin, and she uses the highest quality fragrance oils (which is apparent in her scents). All products are ready to ship, and she ships quickly. No long turnaround times, and she doesn't close for restocking. She also sells candles, lips balms and soap.

Sassy Kandle Co. is a candle and wax melt vendor based in Windsor, Colorado. Her website is https://www.sassykandle.com, Etsy is https://www.etsy.com/shop/SassyKandleCo, and Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/SassyKandleCo.

I did another review in August of many more Sassy Kandle Co. scents at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/2017/08/sassy-kandle-co-wax-melt-tarts-reviews.html, and I'll be reviewing holiday scents over the next few weeks.

Bergamot & Tarragon

Notes: A spa-like fragrance with notes of tarragon leaves, bergamot, lime and jasmine. It is rounded out with base notes of oakmoss and bamboo.

Oh I really like this one. I've smelled it before, but I'm not sure where. It's a very green, herbal, slightly savory spa type scent with barely a hint of sweetness, and a smidgen of soapiness. It could be a fresh herbal body wash but it's not sweet enough. Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

Cedarwood Spice

Notes: Rich warm notes of spicy incense blend with rich cedarwood, oak and spicy clove. Warm undertones of bergamot and black pepper.

I can't tell what I'm smelling. It's sweet and incensey, a little like nag champa or patchouli, with black pepper and a milky or vanilla note. It's nice and unique. Throw was poor, 1.5 or 2 out of 5.

Cocoa Butter Cashmere

Notes: A cozy fragrance perfectly balanced between sweet, woodsy and warm. Notes of light spices and cedarwood are followed by rich vanilla tonka, warm coconut and jasmine petals. Olive wood, sandalwood, amber, musk and a touch of cocoa butter round out this sophisticated scent.

Fantastic scent! It's a warm perfume scent with a cashmere and maybe amber note, but I also smell rich vanilla or caramel, giving this scent a little bit of a sweet foodie quality. I don't actually smell chocolate, but I do detect a very slight chocolate-like richness. Although if I didn't know the scent name was Cocoa Butter Cashmere, I wouldn't think cocoa at all. Looking at the scent notes, I don't think I smell coconut, although it might be way in the background. Throw was excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5, and the scent lasted like 12 hours!

Egyptian Cotton

Notes: This cotton flower is blended with ylang petals and lily of the valley and has undertones of white amber and vanilla orchid wrapped in a blanket of warm musk & mist.

This smells fantastic. I smell baby powder, laundry, warm musk, a hint of vanilla, and a smidgen of some kind of flower like jasmine. Looking at the scent notes, they're spot on. Throw was excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5.

Ginger Peach & Patchouli

Notes: Warm ginger essence combined with juicy peaches and earthy patchouli

I didn't think I would like this based on cold sniff, but it's actually quite nice. I smell the woodsiness of the patchouli and the milkiness of the peach. The peach note is not a sweet fruity peach scent, but more like peaches and cream, or the fuzzy outside of the peach. It's not really a sweet scent either, and there's something about it that smells clean. I don't smell ginger per se. It's a nice, unique scent. Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

Sandalwood Patchouli

Notes: Fragrant grains of sandalwood are polished with the notes of deep patchouli

The perfect combination of sweet rich patchouli and light sandalwood. This also has a perfumey note, and maybe a bit of baby powder or nag champa. Fantastic! Throw was good, around 3 out of 5.

Strawberry Kiwi

Notes: Blend of sweet summer strawberries and ripe kiwis

This smells like honeydew melon with a slightly candyish strawberry note. Melon scents can sometimes be a bit too bland on their own, but the strawberry gives this scent a nice extra sweet, fruity richness. A happy, refreshing summer scent! Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

Sweetgrass

Notes: A bright green scent of earthy sweetgrass with just touch of clover and wisteria.

I really like this one. It smells like green grass and light florals, and a hint of a soapy note that make this smell a bit like a nice green shower gel. Throw was good, 3 out of 5.

Sweet Orange Chili Pepper

Notes: A combination of Valencia orange, bergamot, tangerine zest, orange juice, ground pepper & chili pepper.

I really like this one. It's orange, but not a sweet candy type orange. It's slightly bitter, like the rind of the orange, almost a bit of a grapefruit note. It's very refreshing. I don't actually smell pepper or any savory notes. Throw was excellent, 4 out of 5.

Turkish Mocha

Notes: Creamy top notes of milk, cardamom, cocoa and a touch of nutmeg, winding down to vanilla, honey rum, and Turkish Coffee.

I'm not a fan of chocolate scented wax melts, but this is more than just chocolate, and I love it! It smells a lot like Better Homes & Gardens Brownie Pecan Pie (one of my favorite scents), but without the nutty note. I smell milk chocolate (not a harsh burnt chocolate), caramel, and maybe a smidgen of coconut, and there might also be a barely detectable hint of coffee. It's a super rich, yummy scent. Throw was excellent, 4 out of 5.

Vanilla Hazelnut

Notes: Sweet hazelnut with the richness of buttery vanilla cream

A nice sweet rich nutty buttery bakery scent, this smells a bit like peanut butter cookies, but without the salty note that peanut butter tends to have. Throw was very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

Vanilla Hazelnut Latte

Notes: A smooth vanilla latte complemented with toasted hazelnuts.  Cozy and warming

A fantastic coffee scent that blends a realistic coffee bean scent with sweet vanilla and a slightly nutty note. It's not overly sweet and doesn't have that fake chemical note that a lot of sweet coffee scents have. Throw was excellent, 5 out of 5, and it was a scent monster that took over the whole house.

Sassy Kandle Co. is a candle and wax melt vendor based in Windsor, Colorado. Sara, the company owner, was a pleasure to work with, very polite and professional. She puts a lot of work and effort into her products, and it shows. Sassy Kandle Co. has a website at https://www.sassykandle.com, an Etsy page at https://www.etsy.com/shop/SassyKandleCo, and a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SassyKandleCo.

I really enjoyed these wax melts. The scents were fantastic, and I even like the iridescent, very slightly glittery labels on the clamshells. The wax was very soft and hard to get out of the package though. I had to use a butter knife to pry out a cube, but it wasn't a big deal.

Autumn Lodge

Description: A fireside glow of freshly cut cedar and oak, mixed with fir needle, patchouli, bayberry, tobacco and vanilla.

My Review:
I smell patchouli first, then maybe tobacco, and cedar I think, and some other notes in the background I can't figure out. There's an old perfume note in there as well, but in a good way. Fantastic earthy scent, different from other patchouli scents I've smelled. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell fir needle, but the bayberry and vanilla I might detect just a tad.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Black Pepper & Rosemary

Description: A warm, spicy black peppercorn blend married with the cool and crisp notes of rosemary. Includes notes of bergamot & oakmoss

My Review:
A nice crisp fresh peppery herbal scent, not really sweet, and smells like it might have a hint of lemongrass in it. I also detect a smidgen of mint, even though it's not in the scent notes

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Country Apple

Description: Country fresh picked crunchy orchard apples bursting with sweet juices. Nuances of ripe peach, lime, pear and golden honey round out this delightful fragrance.

My Review:
Lovely fresh apple scent with sweet caramel note.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Cowboy

Description: This is our signature fragrance. It is a pure masculine blend with a hint of leather.

My Review:
Leather with a men's cologne note. It's a bit different from most "cowboy" type scents I've smelled in that it doesn't have a smoky note, which is good.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Cranberry Citrus

Description: A blend of tart cranberries, juicy red grapefruit, tangy tangerine, sweet orange, and lemon-lime.

My Review:
This smells like a refreshing cranberry and orange soda. A little tart, a little sweet, and a little citrusy.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Exotic Patchouli

Description: The classic mix of earthy patchouli blended with an energizing and fruity mix

My Review:
I definitely smell the patchouli first, but there's another note in there that I can't figure out. Maybe a creamy vanilla peach note? Looking at the scent notes, okay there's the "fruity mix". Even though I don't really smell fruit per se. I'm not a fan of this one. Even though it's patchouli, the combination of notes gives it an old perfume scent, and not in a good way.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out o5

Ginger Apple Harvest

Description: A balance between crisp apples, warm ginger, sandalwood, vanilla, nutmeg, sweet pumpkin and cinnamon make this a perfect fall blend!

My Review:
This is a slightly sour overripe apple scent, like an apple that fell on the ground. It also has a bit of an apple cider note with a little spice. And it also has a sweet caramel note. So it's a different type of fall apple scent than others I've smelled, and I really like it!

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Great Tea & Sage

Description: A tranquil blend of green tea and earthy sage.  Notes of pink grapefruit and lemon tea with oakmoss and musk.

My Review:
This is a nice fresh soapy scent like a body wash with herbal notes and a slight floral note. It's sweet but not overly sweet. Looking at the scent notes, I think I detect a smidgeon of tea and musk and maybe even a tiny bit of grapefruit, but no sage. Not sure about the lemon; if it's in there it's very faint, as I don't detect any citrus at all. Melted, it kind of smells like baby powder with an herbal note, or ScentSationals Zen mixed with baby powder.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

French Bread

Description: Smell the aroma of warm, fresh baked french bread, dripping with melted, creamy butter.  Smells so true to the real thing you can almost taste it!

My Review:
This smells just like fresh bread or dinner rolls, with a little salty butter. It's a truly authentic scent!

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Indonesian Teak Wood

Description: A supple wood, mild in fragrance, similar to sandalwood -- soft, earthy & exotic.

My Review:
A light pleasant slightly perfumey scent with a hint of light wood and maybe a smidgen of patchouli or some other incense type note.

Throw: Fair, 2.5 or 3 out of 5

Lavender

Description: A fresh lavender fragrance oil, this fragrance is well rounded and pretty with soft flowery notes.

My Review:
This is a perfect lavender scent. It's not medicinal, yet it's not too sweet or perfumey. It's an authentic lavender scent with a slight floral note. Very nice!

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Lemon Poppyseed

Description: Aroma of freshly-baked lemon poppyseed muffins.  Notes of lemon syrup, poppyseed muffin, brown sugar, marshmallow fluff and vanilla cake batter

My Review:
A nice sweet lemon bakery scent with a hint of buttercream, but also a smidgen of lemon dish detergent, in a good way.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Lemongrass Sage

Description: Grassy notes of lemon blended with sage to envelope the senses. Earthy yet clean.

My Review:
A fantastic clean lemon scent with an herbal and salty note, and maybe a smidgen of pepper.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Lilac Blossoms

Description: As close to a fresh bouquet of lilac flowers as you can get - a springtime favorite!

My Review:
This is not an authentic lilac scent, more like a perfumey lilac, although not overly sweet, maybe like lilac scented soap. It smells great though!

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Lotus Bamboo

Description: Sweet and exotic. A complex and clean fragrant blend of bamboo, grapefruit zest, succulent mango and sandalwood.

My Review:
This is a nice soapy scent with an herbal note. It's not very sweet. Looking at the scent notes, I smell the bamboo, and the light woodsiness of the sandalwood. But I don't smell mango at all, or grapefruit.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Midwest Stormwatch

Description: A clean scent with floral and mild spice notes.  A hard one to describe, but a very popular fragrance.

My Review:
This smells clean and oceany and herbal and very slightly cologney and with perhaps a smidgen of honeysuckle and mint. No one note really stands out, but the combination is very nice.

Throw: Very good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Monkey Bread

Description: Rich, buttery brioche spiced with cinnamon and slathered with layers of caramel pecan icing.

My Review:
Fantastic, authentic scent of a sweet rich cinnamon maple bread.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Red Hot Cinnamon

Description: Aroma of classic red hot cinnamon candies - a seasonal favorite!

My Review:
This is straight cinnamon with a sweet candy note. Just like Red Hot Cinnamon candies!

Throw: Good, 3 out of 5

San Francisco Bay

Description: Memories of the San Francisco bay!  Sea spray, ocean air, driftwood, moss, sage and oud wood

My Review:
I'm not sure what I'm smelling but I really like it! It's a super fresh subtlely sweet scent with a fresh clean note, as well as a floral, and a creamy note, and maybe a smidgen of lemon? Looking at the scent notes, I do detect a little bit of wood, but not that bitter resinous oud wood note at all.

Throw: Poor, 2 out of 5
