Watch video below:

The Hanna's Candles Benditaroma "Blessed Fragrance" Collection is a spiritually inspired line of candles and scented wax melts that comes in 10 different scents. They have a spiritual message on the label, although they are not specifically religious or cater to any particular religious belief or denomination.

ABUNDANCE

Notes: Misty fresh ozone, sweet red and tart green apples with subtle woods

My Review:
A nice fresh crisp apple scent. It's not too sweet, which makes it smell very authentic. But it's not tart or sour either. I don't smell any woodsy notes, and it does have a nice "clean" note which is probably the ozone, but not enough to make this scent smell fake. It smells like a real apple!

Throw: Quite good, 3 or possibly 3.5 out of 5

HEALTH

Notes: Vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar

My Review:
This is a sweet rich vanilla buttercream scent with a little bit of a caramel note. I don't know if it's the same scent as their TimberWick Vanilla Brulee or not (slightly different notes). Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell cinnamon or nutmeg at all. Although cinnamon, hmmm, it could be there way in the back and barely noticeable.

Throw: 1 out of 3, if that. I smelled it very slightly about 20 minutes after I put it in the warmer, then didn't smell it again at all, even from a foot away.

LOVE

Notes: Narcissus, sandalwood, and musk

My Review:
This is my favorite scent of the Benditaroma collection, because it's so unique and different from anything else I've ever smelled. It smells like church. That may sound weird, but when you smell it you'll understand. It has that waxy generic slightly perfumey scent that you smell when you walk into a church. My description makes it sound bad, but it's all good, very good! There may also be a little bit of a baby powder note. Looking at the scent notes, I'm not sure what narcissus smells like (a daffodil type flower that is described of having a tuberose/honeysuckle type scent with hay and green notes). I think I do smell the sandalwood, and a little bit of the rich perfumey note of the musk.

Throw: Excellent, 4 out of 5

LUMINOSITY

Notes: Sweet, creamy coconut milk, pineapple, cilantro, kumquat, and Tahitian vanilla

My Review:
I thought I smelled coconut with a lemon note and then I realized this is the same scent as Coconut Milk Mango, which I reviewed at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/2017/05/hannas-candles-scented-wax-melts-review-spring-2017.html. What a fantastic scent!

Throw: This is a scent monster that took over the whole house, 5 out of 5 throw!

PROSPERITY

Notes: Sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver bourbon

My Review:
A raw cedar wood type scent but not as sweet, and might have a smidgeon of a smoky note. It smells like pencil shavings. This is different from their Cedar Box scent or any of their other woodsy scents. I really like this one. It's very natural, and I think it would be great to melt on a chilly night. Actually, this is the same scent as Ember Glow, even though the Ember Glow scent notes are different (spiced wood, juniper, cinnamon, patchouli and vanilla). I reviewed Ember Glow at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/2016/12/hannas-candles-scented-wax-melts-review.html

Throw: Very Good, 3 or 3.5 out of 5

PROTECTION

Notes: Sweet blossoming plumeria blended with white freesia, lily of the valley, violet and musk

My Review:
This smells like a nice clean, sweet, powdery, relaxing floral soap or woman's body wash.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

ROMANCE

Notes: Mandarin, juicy blackberry, pink freesia, star jasmine, vanilla orchid, strawberry, and musk

My Review:
This is very light on cold sniff. It's a pleasant soft slightly sweet slightly soapy bedroom type scent, like cherry blossom, but different from their Wild Cherry Blossom scent. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell orange (mandarin) at all, and if there are blackberry and strawberry notes, they're very light and barely noticeable.

Melted, this reminds me of a discontinued Crabtree & Evelyn scent called "Tom Kitten" that was supposed to be used in a baby's room. It had a delicate, slightly sweet, calming milk note with a smidgeon of soapy floral. Up close, the scents are different, but melting in the room, they're quite similar. I really like this one.

Throw: Very good, 3 to 3.5 out of 5 (which was surprising since I can barely smell anything on cold sniff)

SPIRITUALITY

Notes: Lavender, thyme, sage, musk and woods

My Review:
This is the same scent as their Timberwick Lavender Sachet, which I reviewed at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/2017/02/hannas-candles-candlemart-scented-wax-melts.html. It's a perfect lavender scent!

Throw: Excellent, around a 3.5 or 4 out of 5.

STRENGTH

Notes: Bergamot, floral, spice, ylang ylang, musk, vanilla, and woody

My Review:
I smell a combination of nag champa incense, orange blossom/neroli, baby powder, oriental spices, and apricot. Looking at the scent notes, bergamot is a deep, boozy, tart, soapy, tea-like citrusy scent that supposedly smells a lot like Earl Grey tea. So that, combined with the floral, musk and spice, may be where I'm getting the orange blossom and apricot notes. It's very similar to the Sparkling Orange Blossom scent (orange color) of the Wild Honeysuckle Trio, but with slightly different notes. A fantastic soft sweet powdery scent!

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

TRANQUILITY

Notes: Ozone, orange, violet, lemon, muguet, jasmine, rose, cedarwood, musk and amber

My Review:
I have no idea how to describe this scent. It's nice, a little sweet, maybe a little bit woodsy and men's cologne, but there's a smidgeon of a sour note in there, although not nearly enough to ruin the scent. Looking at the scent notes, well that's just mish-mash of all kinds of scents! There's the cedarwood, and I think I smell the violet. I don't smell orange or lemon at all. Maybe the amber for warmth, and maybe a little bit of rose.

Throw: Good, 3 out of 5

Hanna's Candles Scented Wax Melts Review – Spring 2017

Hanna's Candles Scented Wax Melts Review – Spring 2017

Hanna's Candles Scented Wax Melts

Watch video below:

Banana Nut Bread

Notes:  Freshly baked bread, bananas, apricots, walnuts, vanilla, whipped butter, ginger, nutmeg crystals, and clove

Review: Super rich and buttery and banana-ey with a salty nutty note, this one may very well put all other banana bread scents to shame. Comparing this scent with Goose Creek Sweet Banana Bread, they both smell fantastic but I like Hanna's Banana Nut Bread more. And comparing this to Mainstays Banana Nut Bread, there's no comparison at all; the Mainstays version is nice but a bit artificial. This scent and the Wild Berry scent are my favorite scents out of all of these!

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Black Mulberry Tree

Notes:  Sweet mulberry and juicy plum woven with sparkling citrus nuances and a splash of vineyard grape

Review: I smell sweet grape and dark blackberry and a little bit of plum, which makes this scent very rich. It's not an authentic grape scent, but more like grape candy. If you like grape scents, this is a good one.

Throw: Good, around a 3 out of 5

Black Sands

Notes:  Orange, lily, bergamot, jasmine, rosewood, heliotrope, and musk

Review: A sweet super warm scent with strong amber and musk notes, baby powder, and a slight cologne note. There's a nice floral note in there that I can't identify that almost has a foodie quality like vanilla. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell orange at all. The nice floral note that I couldn't identify is most likely the heliotrope, which according to online research, is a "delicious powdery scent that oscillates between marzipan, vanilla, cherry pie and almond (hence its alternative name "cherry pie flower")". Well that explains the baby powder note I'm smelling. But I don't detect any almond. Melted, I smell mostly a warm baby powder note, probably the heliotrope. This is a unique scent and I really like it.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 to 4 out of 5

Cashmere Musk

Notes:  Bergamot, jasmine, sandalwood, iris, vanilla, patchouli, musk and cedar

Review: Fantastic sweet very warm cozy scent, definitely a strong cashmere note (which smells like amber but a bit lighter and more powdery), and maybe a little bit of amber wood. This smells a lot like Glade Cashmere Woods.

Throw: Not good, maybe a 2 or possibly 2.5 out of 5, but would probably do well in a small room

Cedar Box

Notes:  White oak wood, birch, citrus bergamot, florals, musk and cedarwood

Review: This really does smell quite a bit like cedar. It's a sweet light wood scent.

Throw: Scent monster, took over entire house, 5 out of 5 throw

Coconut Milk Mango

Notes:  Sweet creamy coconut milk, pineapple, cilantro, kumquat, and vanilla bean

Review: I'm not a big fan of tropical scents, but I really like this one. I smell coconut and tropical fruit. The fruit is slightly sour (in a good way), and it's a rich scent, probably because of the "creamy coconut milk" note. But what makes me really like this scent is it smells like there's a hint of lemon in there. Which there's not. That combination of coconut with that slightly lemony fruity note is very nice. The "lemon" I think I smell is probably the kumquat, which smells kind of like a pungent sour orange, a bit like satsuma. I don't like pineapple scents, and thankfully I don't smell that note in here, or if it's there, it's tempered by the other notes.

Throw: This is a scent monster that took over the whole house, 5 out of 5 throw!

Crisp Apple

Notes:  Top notes of cinnamon & clove with juicy apple fused with orange zest

Review: This is not a fresh crisp apple scent, but a slightly cinnamony apple scent, like light apple cider or apple juice with a little bit of cinnamon. It's a very nice scent, and not an overly spicy fall apple scent. It's very similar to ScentSationals Cinnamon Apples scent, which smells like walking into a Michael's arts and crafts store in the fall!

Throw: Very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5, but the scent was pretty much gone in 2 hours.

Early Morning Mist

Notes:  Dewy ozone, delicate white florals, and soft cyclamen floating above a breezy background of sheer musk

Review: A fresh air, salty ocean water scent that smells like a lot of other similar scents out there. It's a nice scent, not overly sweet, and smells a bit like a fresh, maybe slightly cologney, body wash.

Throw: Fair, around a 2.5 out of 5

Fresh Cotton Blossom

Notes:  Fresh sparkling aldehydes, lemon water, and cool ozone with fresh laundry accord and muguet (lily of the valley). Driftwood and blue musk add a comforting finish.

Review: Standard laundry scent, more of a fabric softener scent rather than a harsh detergent scent, and not overly sweet.

Throw: Very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Fresh Lavender Garden

Notes:  The sweet, sparkling aroma of Lavender de Provence, jasmine flowers, and rose petals

Review: On cold sniff, I smell a slightly sweet lavender with a hint of herbs in the background. The herbs make it slightly medicinal, but the sweetness tempers that herbal note. Melted, it smells like lavender scented cleaner, but in a good way. It's a fresh clean lavender rather than a sweet powdery lavender. Looking at the scent notes, there are no herbs. The jasmine and rose add the sweetness, although I don't smell jasmine and rose per se.

Throw: Excellent, around a 4 out of 5

Grandma's Apple Basket

Notes:  The crisp and clean scent of freshly sliced Granny Smith apples...this deliciously tart, yet slightly sweet aroma is simply irresistible.

Review: A crisp juicy apple scent with a little sweet caramel, and on cold sniff I detect a smidgeon of wood I think, which I don't smell when melted. Looking at the scent notes, it's not wood I smell, it's the tartness in the scent notes. On cold sniff I don't detect any tartness, but I think I do slightly when melted.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 to 4 out of 5

Honeysuckle Blossom

Notes:  Sweet honeysuckle and a touch of lemon blending effortlessly with a bouquet of orange blossom, yellow freesia, muguet (lily of the valley) and gardenia, sweet musk.

Review: This is not an authentic honeysuckle scent, but more like a sweet honeysuckle perfume, in a good way. It's a fantastic scent. I also detect an orange blossom/neroli note, which is one of my favorite scents, and maybe a smidgeon of honey, although honey is not in the scent notes.

Throw: Excellent, 4 out of 5, and the scent lasted all day

Honeysuckle Vine

Notes:  A sweet floral note that resembles jasmine with a hint of citrus and honey

Review: This is the same as their Honeysuckle Blossom scent, even though they have different notes. I think the Honeysuckle Blossom notes are the correct ones, since I do detect a little bit of orange blossom and gardenia, and just a barely detectable smidgeon of lemon. Although I do detect a smidgeon of honey in both scents, and honey is not listed as a note in the Honeysuckle Blossom scent.

Throw: Excellent, 4 out of 5, and the scent lasted all day

Juicy Apple Pomegranate

Notes:  Granny Smith apples, pear, jasmine, rich woods, and a touch of green herbs

Review: Fresh apple with a sweet rich berry note. No spices. Very nice scent. Looking at the notes, I guess the berry I think I smell is actually the pear. Interestingly, there's no pomegranate note! I don't smell wood at all.

Throw: Throw was very good, around a 3.5 out of 5.

Juicy Apricot Jam

Notes:  A true-fruit rendition of juicy apricot embellished with sweet mango nectar and just a hint of creamy coconut

Review: This is a sour but authentic peach scent, more like the fuzzy outside of the peach than the inside. It's a little sweet, but not as sweet as I would have expected based on the name. I didn't think I would like this based on cold sniff, but I really like it. Although it doesn't smell like jam as it's not sweet enough. I don't smell coconut at all.

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5.

Juicy Pear

Notes:  Juicy ripe Anjou pear, tart green apple, white blossom and musk.

Review: This is not what I was expecting. Sometimes pear scents are too bland, or smell too much like apple, or have a bakery or cinnamon note. This smells fantastic, a super sweet pear scent. It actually smells a bit like sweet banana. There are no bakery or spicy notes, which is good. It smells like there might be a smidgeon of floral in the background. Ah, the notes include white blossom and musk, so combined with the pear that's probably why I'm smelling a really sweet almost candy-like banana.

Throw: Excellent, around a 3.5 or 4 out of 5

Key Lime Pie

Notes:  Lime, bergamot, and melon balanced by green notes, geranium, violet leaf and tagette (marigold)

Review: This is a fake lemony lime scent, but not in a bad way. I don't smell any bakery notes, so it doesn't smell like pie, and it's not as sweet as I'd expect from a pie scent. It's almost a salty lime scent, maybe more like a margarita, but still not sweet enough. I like this scent. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell melon.

Throw: Very good, around a 3.5 out of 5

Lilac Breeze Trio

Lilac Breeze (lavender color)
This is the same scent as Lilac Petals and Soft Lilac Petals that I reviewed above. The package has the Lilac Breeze wax first, behind the scent name Periwinkle Pansy, which is incorrect.

Periwinkle Pansy
A very nice soft warm soapy floral scent, like an expensive floral scented soap.  It has a bit of a honeysuckle note. Throw was not great, 2.5 or possibly 3 out of 5, but would do well in a small room.

Violet Petals (middle wax)
This is one of the best floral scents I've ever smelled. If it were available in a single pack, I would hoard it! It smells a little like green grass with a smidgeon of gardenia, not really violet. It's bright and not overly sweet and doesn't smell like perfume. It's also a scent monster that took over the whole house, 5 out of 5 throw, and the scent lasted all day!

Lilac Petals

Notes:  Fresh picked lilac with pear-splashed medley of boxwood, violet, precious woods, and berry-infused musk.

Review: A very nice sweet lilac perfume scent. It's not really an authentic lilac scent; in fact, it's a rather standard lilac scent among wax melts and candles. I really like it though. This is the same as the "Soft Lilac Petals" scent, even though the scent notes are very slightly different; this one supposedly has pear and boxwood, where the other scent doesn't, but I don't smell pear or boxwood (boxwood would give it a green, herbal note).

Throw: Excellent, 3.5 or 4 out of 5.

Luxurious Velvet Woods

Notes:  Fresh greens, blooming tobacco, patchouli, fir needle, cedar, bay leaves, and citrus splashed florals

Review: I smell sandalwood with perhaps a barely detectable hint of smokiness. It's not really sweet. There's also a richness like maybe amber, but not a sweet amber, maybe tobacco. Melted, it has a little bit of a waxy note, and also a smidgeon of a foodie quality. Looking at the scent notes, there's the tobacco. I don't smell fir, but now that I know it's there I think I detect it way in the background.

Throw: Quite good, around a 3 or maybe a 3.5 out of 5

Night Orchid

Notes:  Juicy dark berries, orange, creamy frangipani, dewy honeysuckle, orris, oud and vanilla musk

Review: A very sweet but warm cologne type scent that also has a hint of a laundry note. It's similar to Black Sands but not as much of a warm amber note, and it has that slight laundry note that Black Sands does not. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell any berries, although they could be way in the background. And I don't smell orange at all. And some of the notes, I just don't know what they are so I had to look them up. Frangipani is a flower that smells a little like rose and gardenia, orris is iris flower root, and oud is a sweet woodsy scent.

Throw: Throw was good, around a 3 out of 5.

Oriental Garden

Notes:  Imagine a Japanese garden - clean and floral with herbal notes to round it out

Review: I don't care for this. It smells like basil with a floral note. It's a combination of sour and sweet that I don't think work well together. It smells a little better melted, a very "natural" scent, but I still don't care for it. The scent notes don't say much except floral and herbal, which is accurate. Out of all the scents I'm reviewing today, this is one of the only two I really dislike.

Throw: Very good, around a 3.5 out of 5

Passion Flower

Notes:  Gardenia and mimosa blend with orange flower, tuberose, lush violet, and exotic woods

Review: A sweet yet bitter fake floral scent. There's nothing about this scent that smells like an authentic flower, as it has a chemical note. I thought when melted it might smell a little better, like a fresh floral, but it was quite bitter and smelled a little like bug spray. I didn't like this one. Looking at the scent notes, everything in there is sweet and rich, so I'm not sure where the bitterness is coming from. Out of all the scents I'm reviewing today, this is one of the only two I really dislike.

Throw: Good, around a 3 out of 5

Peony Fields

Notes:  Rose, cyclamen, white musk and tender woods

Review: A bright floral that smells a lot like rose. It's a fake floral, like a floral room spray, not authentic, but that's not a bad thing as it's a great scent. It's not overly sweet and has a smidgeon of bitterness to make it smell a little more authentic. It's not a perfumey scent at all. Looking at the scent notes, there's the rose. And cyclamen is a scent that smells a little like geranium, which is kind of a slightly bitter floral scent. I just realized this is the same scent as their Carmine Rose scent.

Throw: Very good, around a 3.5 out of 5

Sandalwood & Jasmine

Notes:  West Indian lime, cedarwood, jasmine, eucalyptus, orange flower, patchouli leaf oil and sandalwood

Review: On cold sniff, I smell the sandalwood first, but there's also a slight floral note in the background. It's kind of sweet and has a little bit of a men's cologne note. Melted, it's more woodsy (but not smoky), with a slight sweetness, and doesn't have as much of that cologne note. It's a different scent than Cedar Box and Luxurious Velvet Woods (which are also woodsy scents with a slight sweetness). Looking at the notes, I don't smell lime or eucalyptus at all.

Throw: Very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5

Soft Lilac Petals

Notes:  Fresh-picked lilac blended with violet, precious woods, and berry-infused musk

Review: I think this is the same as the new "Lilac Petals" scent, even though the scent notes are very slightly different. But this one and has very slightly better throw, even though this is the older scent and Lilac Petals is brand new. However, the difference is very subtle, and might simply be due to other variables such as a slightly lower temperature in my room today than yesterday.

Throw: Excellent, 4 out of 5.

Sparkling Pink Prosecco

Notes:  Citrus, muguet (lily of the valley), apricot and passionfruit complement the sweetness of sugared currants

Review: Prosecco is an Italian white wine, similar to champagne. This smells like orange soda but not overly citrusy, as there's something else in there, maybe a smidgeon of floral. Looking at the scent notes, the floral is the muguet (lily of the valley).

Throw: Not good, maybe a 2 out of 5

Sugared Pineapple

Notes:  Sugared pineapple, banana, coconut milk, clove, and tonka bean (vanilla)

Review: On cold sniff, it smells like very sweet pineapple scent with maybe a hint of vanilla. This is not a bakery scent. There may be a hint of coconut, which makes this smell like a really sweet Pina Colada. When melted though, it's not really a tropical drink scent, but more of a fake sweet pineapple scent that still smells pretty good if you like pineapple scents (I don't care for pineapple scents). Looking at the scent notes, they're spot on! This is the same scent as their Timberwick Hawaiian Delight scent.

Throw: Good, around a 3 out of 5

Sweet Strawberry Preserves

Notes:  Strawberries, sweet red raspberries, and white sugar

Review: Super sweet rich strawberry scent that really does smell like strawberry jam. Fantastic scent! There may be another fruit in there, maybe blackberry, that makes this scent so rich. Looking at the scent notes, the other fruit is raspberry.

Throw: Good, around a 3 out of 5, but I really wish it were stronger as a scent like this is meant to be very strong!

Watermelon Sorbet

Notes:  The refreshing mouth-watering scent of a juicy summer watermelon

Review: I'm not a big fan of watermelon scents, but I like this one because it's a very sweet candy-like watermelon that almost has a slight strawberry note. Very summery! The scent notes say just watermelon, but there's definitely sugar in there too. This is a different scent from their Jolly Rancher Watermelon, which is a very fake watermelon candy scent (although still a nice scent if you like candy scents).

Throw: Very good to excellent, around a 3.5 or maybe 4 out of 5

White Gardenia Blossom

Notes:  Gardenia, rose bud and white jasmine with traces of wood, powdered musk and a hint of sweet vanilla

Review: This is a heavenly, old-fashioned floral perfume scent, kind of like White Shoulders perfume.

Throw: Excellent, 4 out of 5.

White Peach Nectar

Notes:  Cinnamon, nutmeg, apricot puree, molasses, pumpkin, peach, nectarine, vanilla, sugar, clove

Review: Based on the name, I expected this to be a very sweet scent, but it's not. It's actually quite sour, with just a little bit of sweetness. On cold sniff I do smell peach, along with a very slight bready note in the background, even though this is not a bakery scent. The picture of peach blossoms on the front tells me that there should be a floral note, but I don't smell that. It's very similar to Juicy Apricot Jam. Smelling them side by side, now I can actually detect a slight floral note in this one which for some reason I thought was a bready note but it's not. Melted, I just smell a nice sour peach, no floral or bready notes. Looking at the notes, I don't smell cinnamon, nutmeg, or clove at all, or any type of fall spice type notes.

Throw: Scent monster, took over entire house, 5 out of 5 throw

Wild Berry

Notes:  Juicy blackberries and sweet cranberries dusted with confectioners sugar

Review: A fantastic rich sweet buttery blueberry scent with sweet buttercream and marshmallow and cotton candy notes. Looking at the notes, there are no blueberries. I don't smell cranberries at all (which would be slightly bitter), I really smell blueberries, and the wax is light blue! This scent and the Banana Nut Bread are my favorite scents out of all of these! UPDATE: I just realized after posting this review, that this is the same scent as their Wild Berry Cobbler scent.

Throw: Very good, around a 3.5 out of 5

Wild Cherry Blossom

Notes:  Cherry blossom notes drift through Asian lotus and delicate rose, dew covered lily, and lustrous greens

Review: All I smell on cold sniff is old waxy soap. Melted, it smells a bit better, still like old waxy soap, but it's actually kind of a nice old-fashioned scent, like Grandma's bathroom! It's not very sweet, and it doesn't smell like cherry blossom at all.

Throw: I expected throw to be poor based on cold sniff, but surprisingly it was very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

Wild Honeysuckle Trio

Wild Honeysuckle (light yellow color)
This is the same scent as the Honeysuckle Blossom and the Honeysuckle Vine scents.

Hydrangea Blooms (white color)
This wax is where the Sparkling Orange Blossom wax should be in the package by mistake. This is a combination of a creamy tropical fruit scent and a floral scent, with maybe a smidgeon of vanilla and maybe also a barely detectable trace of coconut. It's a lovely scent, even though it doesn't smell like a hydrangea flower. Throw is very good, 3 to 3.5 out of 5.

Sparkling Orange Blossom (orange wax)
This wax is where the Hydrangea Blooms wax should be in the package by mistake. Although I definitely smell orange blossom in this one, I think the Wild Honeysuckle scent has a stronger orange blossom note. This is a very nice sweet floral and orange blossom (neroli) scent with a light wood note (like an agar or oud wood) and maybe some Oriental spices. It also smells a little like Coppertone suntan lotion. It's a fantastic, unusual scent. Throw is very good to excellent, around a 3.5 or maybe 4 out of 5, and the scent lasted all day.

Hanna's Candles (CandleMart) Scented Wax Melts Review

Hanna's Candles (CandleMart) Scented Wax Melts Review
Hanna's Candles (CandleMart) Scented Wax Melts

This is another review of Hanna's Candles scented wax melts. You can order these from the Hanna's Candles website at https://candlemart.com/collections/all/no-wick. Please also see my last review of more Hanna's scents at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/2016/12/hannas-candles-scented-wax-melts-review.html.

Watch video below:

Hanna's at Home Trios – Cool Winds / Cotton Seed and Freesia / Fresh Cotton
Cool Winds – A nice fresh fabric softener scent. Throw is excellent, around a 3.5 or 4 out of 5.
Cotton Seed and Freesia – Coconut with a laundry note and smidgeon of floral. Throw is very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
Fresh Cotton – This smells more like a fresh salty ocean scent than laundry. It's an okay scent, but I like the other two better. Throw is good, around a 3 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Chocolate Infatuation – Vanilla Truffle / Milk Chocolate / Chocolate Biscotti
Vanilla Truffle – A rich sweet marshmallowy vanilla buttercream. Throw is very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5. Unfortunately the scent started dissipating within 2 hours.
Milk Chocolate – This really does smell like milk chocolate, a light milky chocolate scent like a milk chocolate candy bar. Throw is very good, around a 3.5 out of 5.
Chocolate Biscotti – This smells like rich hot chocolate, but I don't smell any bakery notes. Throw is only fair, around a 2.5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Candy Crush – Nilla Vanilla / Berry Licious / Cherry Crush
Nilla Vanilla – On cold sniff it smells like vanilla buttercream with a cherry note, but it also has a weird plasticy chemical note. When melted though, it just smells like vanilla buttercream, no cherry (the cherry note was probably absorbed from the cherry scent in the package) or chemical notes. However, I could barely smell it, even up close, and throw was maybe a 1 or possibly 1.5 out of 5.

Berry Licious – A nice sweet cherry vanilla scent. It's a "happy" scent! Throw is fair to good, around a 2.5 or possibly 3 out of 5, but unfortunately scent started dissipating within an hour or two.

Cherry Crush – This smells like rich cherry flavored cough syrup cherry. It's not an authentic cherry scent, smells quite artificial but I like it. Throw is excellent, 3.5 or maybe 4 out of 5.  After about an hour, it started getting a bit annoying with more of a chemical note; I think mixing it with a bit of a vanilla would help.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Peppermint / Mint Leaves / Candy Cane
Peppermint – A slightly sweet peppermint scent. All 3 scents in this trio smell almost exactly the same. Throw is not very good, around a 2 or maybe a 2.5 out of 5.

Mint Leaves – On cold sniff this one is a bit weak. I smell mint with a slightly woodsy note. But when melted I don't smell the woodsy note, but I do smell a little bit of a sweet vanilla and a smidgeon of cookie. Throw is fair, around a 2.5 out of 5.

Candy Cane – A sweet vanilla mint scent. This one is a little sweeter than the other two scents. Throw is fair, around a 2.5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home PureFresh Bathroom Neutralizing Mountain Air
Notes: A crisp fresh blend of ozone, herbs, florals and musk
On cold sniff this smells like a nice smelling bar of soap. Melted, it's definitely a laundry scent, but a nice soapy laundry scent, not a harsh detergent scent but also not a flowery fabric softener scent. Throw is excellent, around 3.5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home PureFresh Pet Neutralizing Sunshine Fresh
Notes: The harmonious fusion of florals, green apples, ozone, and musk
This is exactly the same scent as ScentSationals Paws-itively Tropical, which is actually an apple scent with another note that I can't put my finger on, but it's very nice. Looking at the scent notes, that other note I can't figure out is "ozone", which gives it a fresh almost oceany vibe. And the Paws-itively Tropical scent is also a Pure Air Odor Eliminating Technology scent. Hanna's Candles and ScentSationals are two different companies, but it looks like some of their scents may be coming from the same place. Hanna's PureFresh Kitchen Neutralizing Sparkling Herbs scent (which I reviewed HERE) is the same scent as ScentSationals Sparkling Herbs. Throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.

TimberWick Lavender Sachet
Notes: Lavender, wild thyme, sage, warm musk, and earthy woods
A lovely soapy lavender scent. This is not a harsh medicinal lavender. It's more on the sweet side, but not overly sweet, and has a very slight warm ambery note (from the musk). It's a perfect lavender scent, and great for a bedroom or baby's room. Throw is excellent, around a 3.5 or 4 out of 5.

TimberWick Pine Meadow
Notes: Crushed pine needles with fresh cedar and blue spruce bark
This is more of a spruce scent than a pine scent. Pine scents can be a little biting and sometimes smell artificial, but spruce scents are more crisp and subtle. Blue spruce specifically is fantastic, a fresh, crisp woodsy balsam scent, which is mostly what I smell here. It's not a biting pine scent, and I don't smell cedar. Throw is very good, around a 3.5 out of 5.

This is a review of Hanna's Candles scented wax melts. Hanna's Candles also makes Ashland wax for Michael's, Huntington Home wax for Aldi, Jolly Rancher, Hershey's, and TimberWick scents, and used to make Mainstays Triple Melts for Walmart (before they were discontinued about two years ago). If you miss the Mainstays Triple Melts and the Aldi wax melts (which only come out three times a year), you can find many of these scents in Hanna's Candles' other wax melts which can be ordered from their website at https://candlemart.com/collections/all/no-wick. They have more scents than the ones I reviewed, and I wish I had bought more. I'll be placing another order!

In general, Hanna's Candles melts are excellent in terms of scents and throw. Their new Trios and their Aromabeads Singles (which I reviewed at http://www.scentedwaxreviews.com/search?q=aromabeads) are fantastic. I would put Hanna's Candles scented wax melts on par with ScentSationals (and Better Homes & Gardens, which ScentSationals manufactures for Walmart) wax melts, my #1 brand, especially now that Hanna's Candles has updated their website (http://www.candlemart.com)  to include new items and make ordering easier.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Dew Drops / Gentle Breeze / Garden Rain
Dew Drops – This is actually the same scent as Mainstays Garden Rain (I think scent name on label is incorrect). It's a fresh sweet watery airy scent with a little bit of an ocean-y quality and a smidgeon of floral perhaps that makes it very slightly perfumey. It has a generic bathroom air freshener scent, but I like it better than Dew Drops. Throw is excellent, around a 4 out of 5.
Gentle Breeze – Fresh watery herbal scent with a hint of lemon and a soapy note, this one smells like a fresh men's body wash. It's a nice scent, but throw is not good, maybe a 2 or 2.5 out of 5.
Garden Rain – This is a different scent than Mainstays Garden Rain (I think scent name on label is incorrect). This is a fresh watery scent with a chemical note and maybe a smidgeon of sweet lemon. It smells like a cheap generic bathroom air freshener. Not a bad scent, but not my favorite. Throw is very good, around a 3.5 out of 5. I probably should have started these reviews with one of the many scents that I really love!

Hanna's at Home Trios – Orchard Fruits / Pumpkin Latte / Apple Pumpkin
This is the same as the old Mainstays Triple melts with the same scents, and also the same as Ashland Autumn Gatherings "Harvest Trio" at Michael's in Fall 2015. These are some of my favorite scents!
Orchard Fruits – Very sweet rich apple scent with a caramel note and maybe a hint of cinnamon. This is not a typical cinnamon apple scent. It's much sweeter and richer, and it smells fantastic! Throw is excellent, 5 out of 5!
Pumpkin Latte – Another very sweet rich scent, this one smells a lot like eggnog, very creamy, with a slight nutmeg note but also a barely detectable smidgeon of coffee. Another fantastic scent with excellent 5 out of 5 throw.
Apple Pumpkin – I just smell apple, although there's a bit of an apple cider note but not a mulling spices type scent. Throw is excellent, 5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Caramel Apple / Mulled Cider / Apple Butter
This is the same as the old Mainstays Triple melts with the same scents.
Caramel Apple – This smells like mulled apple cider. It's not all that caramely, but it still smells very nice. Excellent throw, 5 out of 5.
Mulled Cider – This smells like fresh apple with a hint of mulling spices and a smidgeon of caramel. In fact, I think the label is wrong, and the Caramel Apple and Mulled Cider scents are reversed. Excellent throw, 5 out of 5.
Apple Butter – A rich sugary sweet apple scent, this smells like apple flavored buttercream frosting! This is the best scent of the three. Excellent throw, 5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Pumpkin Maple / Pumpkin Spice / Pumpkin Bread
This is the same as the old Mainstays Triple melts with the same scents.
Pumpkin Maple – This smells like caramel and maple with a hint of pumpkin spices. So yummy! This is the best scent of the three. Excellent throw, 5 out of 5.
Pumpkin Spice – This is a typical pumpkin pie scent, and quite nice. Excellent throw, 5 out of 5.
Pumpkin Bread – This is another pumpkin pie type scent, but more bready and with more cinnamon and not as sweet as the Pumpkin Spice scent. Excellent throw, 5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Strawberry Lemonade / Frozen Mint Leaves / Lemon Sugar
This is the same as the old Mainstays Triple melts with the same scents.
Strawberry Lemonade – This was one of my favorite Mainstays scents, and I've missed it! It's a strong lemon scent with a sweet berry note. Very nice, and throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.
Frozen Mint Leaves – I just smell something sweet, with maybe a smidgeon of lemon, but not really mint. This one always had the weakest throw in the MainStays triple melt, but I don't recall it being this weak. Throw is around a 2 out of 5.
Lemon Sugar – A very sweet almost marshmallowy lemon scent, very nice. Throw is very good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Coastal Woods / Tiki Hut / Sand Dollar
This is the same as the old Mainstays Triple melts with the same scents.
Coastal Woods – Light tropical woodsy scent with a slight coconut note, but it mostly smells like really old or old-fashioned perfume, but not in a bad way. It's an unusual scent.  Throw is fair to good, 2.5 to 3 out of 5.
Tiki Hut – A fresh herbal body wash type scent with just a barely detectable smidgeon of light woods and maybe floral. There may be coconut although I don't really smell it. Throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.
Sand Dollar – I think this is pineapple with coconut and light wood. It's not a sweet or foodie pineapple, actually a little on the sour side, and it's definitely tropical. I'm not a fan of pineapple scents, but I like this one. Throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Island Petals / Tropical Beach / Island Waves
Island Petals – A very sweet watery scent with a floral note. Very nice, and throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.
Tropical Beach – Similar to Island Petals but not quite as sweet, and with a soapy note and a smidgeon of coconut. It smells like a woman's body wash.  Throw is quite good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5.
Island Waves – This is the same as the old Mainstays Island Waves scent, coconut with a fresh sweet watery note, more coconut than, and not as sweet as, the other two scents.  Throw is excellent, at least a 4 out of 5, maybe 5 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Evergreen & Cedar / Holly Berry / Pine
Evergreen & Cedar – A nice pine scent with a sweet slightly vanilla note and a hint of fruit, although the sweet note might actually be cedar. Nice scent, but throw is only fair, maybe a 2.5 or 3 out of 5.
Holly Berry – A bayberry scent, similar to Evergreen & Cedar scent, but less pine and more berry. Throw is very good, around a 3.5 out of 5.
Pine – A standard pine scent with a very subtle hint of sweetness. It may be the same scent as Mainstays Evergreen Spruce. Throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home Trios – Island Luau / Cabo Sunshine / Tahitian Sunset
This is the same as the old Mainstays Triple melts with the same scents.
Island Luau – Tropical fruit scent with coconut and a very light woodsy note. Throw is excellent and this one is a scent monster, 5 out of 5.
Cabo Sunshine – Sweet and slightly sour tropical fruit scent with a hint of coconut. Throw is very good, around a 3.5 out of 5.
Tahitian Sunset – I can't figure this one out. It's a little perfumey and a little tropical, but there's also a sour waxy almost savory note in the background. I don't like this one. Throw is very good, around a 3.5 out of 5.

Hanna's Harvest Heirloom Uncle Johnny's Fall Hayride
Notes: Cedar, juniper, fir, oakmoss, musk, tobacco
This is the same scent as Huntington Home Falling Leaves scent that Aldi's carried in September 2015. It smells like really old apples (but in a good way) mixed with woodsy leaves and an apple cider note. Looking at the scent notes, I don't smell fir, musk, or tobacco, and I can't believe that apples are not in the scent notes since that's what I smell the most. Throw is excellent, at least a 4 or even 5 out of 5; it's a scent monster that takes over the entire house!

Hanna's at Home PureFresh Kitchen Neutralizing Sparkling Herbs
Notes: Green herbs, citrus, lemongrass, and eucalyptus
This is the same scent as the old ScentSationals Sparkling Herbs. This is very strange, because ScentSationals and Hanna's Candles are two different companies.  It's a fantastic lemony herbal scent with a soapy note, like a spa type fragrance. Throw is excellent,  4 out of 5.

Hanna's at Home PureFresh Smoke Neutralizing Spring Rain
Notes: Apple, ozone, citrus, lily, jasmine, wood and musk
This one is very light on cold sniff. I can barely smell it. Same thing when melted. I think I detect a baby powder scent with a chemical note, but I can't tell. Throw is maybe 1 out of 5.

TimberWick Cedar Oakwood
Notes: White oak wood, birch, citrus bergamot, florals, musk, and cedarwood
This is the same scent as Better Homes & Gardens Pure White Woods, which is strange because Better Homes & Gardens melts are made by ScentSationals, a completely different company. This is a nice sweet woodsy scent, similar to Vanilla Woods. I don't smell citrus. Throw is excellent, 4 out of 5.

TimberWick Carmine Rose
Notes: Rose, cyclamen, white musk, and tender woods
A plain tea rose scent. This is not the same as the old Mainstays Rose scent, which was a more artificial scent. This is the same scent as their Peony Fields scent. Throw is quite good, around a 3 or 3.5 out of 5.

TimberWick Night Musk
Notes: Sandalwood, eucalyptus, cedarwood, orange peel, patchouli, and musk
A woodsy men's cologne scent with a smidgeon of smokiness. I don't smell eucalyptus, although that might be the smokiness. And I don't smell orange. Very nice scent. Unfortunately throw is not very good, around a 2.5 out of 5, but would probably do well in a very small room.

TimberWick Ember Glow
Notes: Spiced wood, juniper, cinnamon, patchouli and vanilla
This smells like sweet raw wood scent like pencil shavings, with leather, and maybe a hint of sweet vanilla. It's a manly scent, but it doesn't smell like cologne. It's very familiar, so I think this scent has been used in other wax melts. I'm surprised that leather is not one of the notes, since I detect a strong leather note in this scent. I don't smell cinnamon at all. Throw is fair, around a 2.5 or 3 out of 5.

TimberWick Woodland Terrace
Notes: Lemon, coriander, peppercorn, cardamom, Koa wood, and vetiver
This is not very strong on cold sniff, but it smells like freshly cut herbs and maybe a minty note.  When melted, I don't detect any mint, but it also takes on more of a raw wood note mixed with the herbs. It's a bit too "natural", not a scent that I would want to melt in the house. Throw is fair, around a 2.5 or 3 out of 5.
