This year Yankee Candle only put out 5 new scents in their Walmart wax melt Spring 2019 collection. For the past few years, the new Spring line consisted of 20 to 24 new scents!

Blush Bouquet

Notes: Top: Cherry Blossoms; Mid: Peony, Sweet Pea, Lily; Bottom: Amber

This is a very sweet floral scent with a perfumey note. I think it's cherry blossoms with maybe a smidgen of baby powder, but there's also some other floral note in there like maybe jasmine and/or rose, and a tiny bit of amber like warmth. It's a little bit like a Pink Sugar scent but without the fruit, very sweet and girly. I really like it!
Someone in our Facebook group said "On cold sniff, there’s a light floral fragrance, mixed with just a bit of light perfume. It’s too floral for me to say 'clean', but it leans that way. When melted, it’s true to its cold scent. Lightly floral—spring flowers mixed with a light rose. There is a bit of perfume, but it’s not musky. The throw is pretty good but not too strong 3.5-4 out of 5. It’s lasting a long time, too. I definitely catch the peonies, but I think the mixture takes it away from authentic peony scent, moving it more to a light pink rose. It also mentions amber, which must be the mild perfume scent."

Throw: Medium, 3.25 out of 5

Floral Candy

Notes: Traces of pear blossom, sparkling rose water, sugared rose petals, lily, Ylang Ylang, powdery musk & marshmallow

I thought based on the scent name that this would be Pink Sugar scent, but it's completely different. Pink Sugar is a super sweet raspberry based girly perfume scent. This is also not a cotton candy scent, as that is more fruity, with raspberry and lemon notes, and no floral or perfumey notes. This scent is more of a candy scent with a floral note. It's perfumey, but not as sweet and rich as Pink Sugar can be. It has a vanilla marshmallowy note, and only a slight fruity note (strawberry or apple, maybe?). Although the throw is bold and I can smell it throughout the house, it's not an overly strong scent, so it's not overwhelming. Getting a strong throw from this type of scent is unusual!

Throw: Bold, 5 out of 5

Seaside Woods

Notes: Top: Orange Blossoms, Cool Citrus; Mid: Sweet Alyssum, Acacia; Bottom: Cottonwood, Driftwood

Fantastic scent that smells like a light beach wood, musk, a sweet floral like sweet pea, and a little bit of sweet tobacco and maybe a smidgen of patchouli. It's a very unique scent and I love it. Looking at the notes, there's the beach wood (driftwood) and sweet floral (acacia and alyssum), but no tobacco, and I don't smell any citrus notes. If I had to classify it, I'd say it's kind of an incensey scent, but it's also a little bit perfumey.

Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5

Turquoise Glass

Notes: Top: Iced Watermelon, Peach Tea; Mid: Sea Breeze, Tiara Flower, Freesia; Bottom: Musk, White Cedarwood

A fresh, watery, slightly sweet scent with a smidgen of floral and fruit (watermelon? apple?), but it's definitely a fresh scent rather than a floral or fruity scent, and it's not perfumey at all, nor does it have the salty note that some oceany scents tend to have. It has a tiny bit of a soapy note that makes it smell a little like shower gel, but although it's sweet, it's not quite sweet enough for shower gel. It may also have a smidgen of coconut. I have a lot of scents that are similar to this one, but I still like it.
Someone in our Facebook group said, "There is a soapy or perfume undertone, but the scent in the foreground is much like clean spring or ocean water. It doesn’t quite have the salty quality of salt water, and it’s not quite as mineral based as spring water, but there’s definitely a water tone. I’d say this is a clean smell. I don’t know how they capture the scent of a color, but if turquoise had a scent, this would be it. I think there is also something sweet floating around in there. I would still qualify this as a 'clean scent', but it’s completely different from any linen, laundry, or soap scent."

Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5

White Strawberry Bellini

Notes: Top: Pineapple, Orange; Mid: Mango, Peach Nectar, Chilled Champagne; Bottom: Sugar

This might be one of the best fruity scents I've ever smelled! I smell strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, and maybe a hint of guava or mango. It's a super syrupy sweet candy like fruity scent with a hint of tartness. Someone in our Facebook group said it's a "really sweet strawberry/champagne fragrance." Strangely, there's no strawberry in the scent notes.

Throw: Bold, 5 out of 5

These scents were not available when I did my first Goose Creek Candle Spring 2019 wax melts review in January.

Lavender Vanilla

Description: This soothing aroma will drift you into a deeply relaxing mood.

Notes: Top: Fresh Lavender, Violet, Rose; Mid: Red Fruits, Jasmine; Base: Amber, Cedarwood, Warm Vanilla

I adore this scent! It's authentic lavender with a rich vanilla buttercream note, and maybe a smidgen of caramel. It also has a warm note, like amber or cashmere. And possibly another barely detectable floral way in the background, like gardenia. It's sweet but not perfumey. All of the notes are balanced just perfectly. There are lots of other lavender vanilla scents out there, and they all smell like the Bath & Body Works or Yankee Lavender Vanilla, with that odd coconut note. I really like those other lavender vanilla type scents, but nothing compares to this one. This might be one of the best scents I've ever smelled!! Looking at the notes, I don't smell fruit or rose.

Throw: Medium, 3.25 out of 5

Orange Cream Soda

Description: Orange soda is poured over sweet vanilla cream satisfying every classic float lover.

Notes: Top: Creamy Vanilla, Bright Orange; Mid: Mixed Citrus, Soft Fizz; Base: Soda Notes, Sugar

This smells just like an orange creamsicle. I've smelled other orange vanilla and orange dreamsicle type scents before, but this one might be the best. It's a nice balance of fake, slightly tangy orange drink powder (in a good way) with super sweet creamy vanilla. I can't stop smelling it! I think it's a little more orangey/tangy than other similar scents I've smelled, which is also a good thing. Looking at the scent notes, I don't detect any fizzy or soda notes, which is also a good thing.

Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5

Sunday Drive

Description: Windows down, hair is blowing as you cruise down the backroads without a care in the world.

Notes: Top: Cactus Flower, Soft Raspberry; Mid: Sparkling Lemon, Jasmine; Base: Sun-Kissed Coconut, Vanilla

I love this scent! It smells like a combination of coconut, a rich warm floral, a fruity note like raspberry, and a little bit of a cologne note, although it's not a cologne scent at all. It's sweet but not perfumey. Looking at the scent notes, they're right on point, although I don't smell lemon, and cactus flower might be the salty note that I think is bergamot (which gives scents a cologney note).

Throw: Bold, 5 out of 5

Unicorn Candy

Description: The mouthwatering aroma of sour candies covered with sparkling sugar.

Notes: Top: Blue Raspberry, Candied Sugar; Mid: Rock Candy, Peach Crème; Base: Wild Currant, Mixed Berry

This smells like a super sweet raspberry and blueberry (blue raspberry?) candy with a hint of lemony tartness. It has a cotton candy note, but it's not quite as sugary and does have that hint of lemon. It smells like a blue raspberry slushie, or fruity hard candies. I love this scent, and it lasted all day!
Someone in the group said it "has a pronounced blue raspberry with a touch of sugar or cotton candy maybe. It’s sweet, but brighter. It reminds me of snow cones at the carnival."

Comparing this to ScentSationals Unicorn Cake and Hobby Lobby Unicorn Dreams, all 3 scents are completely different from each other, despite the similar names.

Throw: Bold, 5 out of 5

Yuzu Lime

Description: A bright citrus blend. The aroma of beautiful farm-fresh citruses fill the air.

Notes: Top: Sharp Citrus, Yuzu Lime, Lime Juice;
Mid: Lemon Juice, Grapefruit, Mandarin; Base: Sparkling Water, Light Musk

Yuzu is a citrus fruit that has zesty notes of lemon, lime, bitter grapefruit, mandarin (orange), and oregano. I smell the orange first, with the lime note. It's a little sweet. Looking at the notes, I don't smell musk, as it's not a perfumey scent at all. And there are sparkling, fizzy notes. I really like this one, but the scent dissipated within 2 hours.

Throw: Strong, 3.75 out of 5
