These Better Homes & Gardens Aromatherapy Wax Melts are part of a brand new line of aromatherapy products at Walmart which includes candles, wax melts, and scented oils. They're infused with real essential oils. The wax melts are $2.00 each, same as other Walmart wax melts, and the only scent notes are those shown in the scent name. I really liked these scents. They are relaxing, spa type scents, most of which are unique and different from any other wax melt scents I've smelled.
Blackcurrant & Bay
This smells a lot like Better Homes & Gardens Savory Blackberry Cobbler from 2016 (I reviewed it at http://www.scentedwaxmeltreviews.com/2016/02/better-homes-gardens-scented-wax-melts-spring-2016.html), but it's not the same scent as there are no bakery note. This is not a sweet scent at all. It's quite savory and a little sour. I do smell the currant berry note, but this is not a fruity scent. It's really hard to describe. There's a strong herbal note, kind of like oregano but not that savory.
Throw: Strong, 3.5 to 4 out of 5
Geranium & Patchouli
This is the same scent as the old discontinued ScentSationals Black Pepper & Rosemary, a fantastic herbal men's cologne Irish Spring type scent.
Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5
Lavender & Vanilla
On cold sniff this smells like a combination of baby powder and milk, and smells a lot like an old discontinued baby powder and baby cream from Crabtree & Evelyn called Tom Kitten, a very nice baby powder/milk scent. But I can also smell the authentic lavender, which comes out a bit more when melted. A fantastic relaxing scent that's perfect for a baby's room. Someone said this smells exactly like Bath & Body Works Lavender & Vanilla candle, which I have never smelled, but I've smelled dupes of that scent and this smells nothing like that. What do you think?
Throw: Faint, 2 out of 5
Lemongrass & Ginger
I nice spa lemon scent with a slightly savory lemongrass/lemon verbena note, and a smidgen of a slightly soapy ginger note. It's not a sweet scent, and it's completely different from the Vetiver & Lemon scent.
Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5
Lime & Eucalyptus
This smells like ScentSationals Zen, but when I smell them side by side, they're different. They both have that very subtle spearminty note. But Zen also has a hint of a sweet laundry note, while Lime & Eucalyptus has a hint of a lemon verbena note. But they're both so similar to each other that it's hard to tell the difference when they're melting.
Throw: Strong, 4 out of 5
Orange & Cedarwood
When I first smelled this I thought it smelled like ScentSationals Molten Orange, and it does have some similarities, but this scent is not as orangey or sweet. It also smelled a lot like the old Better Homes & Gardens Valencia Blood Orange, which was an intense almost savory orange scent, more savory than Molten Orange, and a bit similar to satsuma. But this is not exactly the same as that scent either. This is like a combination of Valencia Blood Orange with a slightly soapy, slightly woodsy note. It's kind of savory, and only very slightly sweet.
Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5
Rosemary & Spearmint
This scent is true to its name. It's a strong spearmint scent but not overly sweet like toothpaste, because of the herbal note that smells a little bit like fresh basil. Very nice.
Throw: Strong, 3.5 out of 5
Vetiver & Lemon
I really like this scent. It's weak on cold sniff, but not when melted. I smell lemon with a slightly sweet almost laundry type note, as well as a bland Ivory soap type note, but not in a bad way. But it's not a kitchen lemon type scent, more of kind of a lemon scented laundry scent perhaps, but with some other notes. It's very nice, and not a dupe of any older ScentSationals or Better Homes & Gardens scents that I know of.
